Yorkshire Sculpture Park

Henry Moore- I enjoyed seeing Moore's work as I have only seen them in textbooks and online before hand. They were much larger and greater in person. Personally I don't think that the photographs I have seen have done his work justice. The scale and fine detail in his work is amazing. Beautiful pieces. His created shapes have inspired me to complete expressive drawings of my observations.







Masayliki Koorida- Smooth, Large sculptures, Chemistry, Molecules/ Particles, Atoms, Circular shapes, Overlapping creating new shapes, Dynamic shapes. 

Jaume Plensa- "Twentynine palms" Rows upon rows of beautifully glittering letters.











Jaume Plensa- A dynamic piece which is different from every angle, drifting from 2-D to 3-D through use of material. 

These are some images from Yorkshire Sculpture Park, I went to collect research for my Shirt brief. I didn't realise how big the park was and I wasn't dressed appropriately for the heatwave we were having that week.
