Test Shoot: Colour

A few tests photographing through a painted piece of plastic which I cellotaped to my bed (who says you need a fancy £10,000 studio?) using a standard 18-55mm lens, really want to try this again with a macro lens or a 50mm gave a really beautiful effect, just wish it was sharper.

Here's a snap off my phone of my make shift set, proving that you can take nice photos in your bedroom with an old art project, some black pvc fabric and a standard lamp!

Here's the eye look I used for the shoot, I went with a lilacy, springy tone and kind of created a marbling smokey eye effect. Starting with the lighter tones to cover the base of the lid then layering over with darker shades. I used a fairly cheap shadow palette Saffron London £7.99 from The Duty Free Store in Manchester Arndale.
