Amy Mc.
I first shot with Amy around 6 months ago now when I had my first SLR for a matter of weeks. It's amazing to see how much we have both grown in our fields since then! The shoot went amazingly and we both got some amazing shots for our portfolio.
We shot around the quieter side of Manchester near Piccadilly in the early evening which gave us such perfect lighting. There were a few light showers but nothing major!
Since I'm a Photographer, stylist, hair and make up artist rolled into one I have to carry a huge suitcase around with me on shoots with anything we might need on set. I've started to keep my jewellery in a pringles tin! haha I think it's time I found an assistant, my shoots are becoming more and more professional, its getting harder and harder to manage everything on my own.
The locations were pretty amazing! I'd only spotted them the day before I'm so glad I did!
This was infront of the train station. Luckily there wasn't many people hanging around so we could get on with the shoot without feeling under pressure with people watching.
I'm in love with the wall texture, I have no idea what it's supposed to represent but it's fabulous none the less!
With regards to styling this look I wanted to go for something classy and grown up looking.
The dress is the models own, from Topshop.
The shirt I picked up from a charity shop however it was originally labelled to be from Marks and Spencers, it has a oriental style fastenings, a great purchase.
The hat, which you've probably seen in my portfolio before was from Primark.
Again, the shoes were the model's own.
